In 2025, a virus has covered the entire world. One-third of the people infected with the virus shrank in height and became shrunken human of about 5 mm. Some of them escaped from the hospitals and became wild. The shrunken human had no human rights and were abhorred as insects by ordinary people.
Matthew, a young shrunken human of 18 years old, lives a quiet life with his girlfriend. They live under the floor of the human Miach's house, receiving the things they need for their life little by little without being noticed. However, his girlfriend was so ditzy that she was sometimes seen by Miach. The next time Miach finds a shrunken human, she plans to stomp them to death with her foot. When they go out on the floor to look for food, they are unlucky to be found by Miach.
